What Do I Do About Work?

People respond to illness differently: some take a leave while others delve deeper into their work. Those who have the luxury of not working may find themselves constantly thinking about the cancer and ruminating or just enjoy not stressing about work. Those who are taking care of kids may be overwhelmed and find they have no break or outlet or alternatively, keeping busy allows them to take their minds off things.

Basically, everyone has their own coping strategy. It may mean surrounding yourself with friends, catching up with them and playing golf. Or needing alone time with a book or getting a massage. Continue doing whatever self-care you need.
